Account settings

Your account in Spinal holds all site data, content types, content, comments and team members. Your Account settings are separated in two sections.

Account details #

Name #

You change the account’s name by going to your Dashboard, head over to Settings / Account. Rename your account name and choose Save.

The account’s name is used on the invitation-accept page.

Only the owner of the account can change the account’s name.

Site settings #

Your account can hold one site.

Website #

This is the base URL of your static site, eg. “https://spinalcms.com”. It’s used for the direct links to the content. Be sure to set up the format slug in the content type’s settings.

Default branch #

The default is the branch used to create commits to. When empty it uses GitHub’s default branch. You can change it to whatever branch you like.
