MDX components

Spinal has (experimental) support for MDX components. MDX components allows you to use JSX in your markdown content. This is supported in static site generators like Astro, Docusaurus and Nuxt.

Edit props #

You can tweak the props of any component in editor. Select the the components' name to view all editable props. A form will show with all editable fields.

Add new components #

You can insert new components through the toolbar. Make sure you've enabled the option for your toolbar. Select the MDX button, an input field appears where you can enter the name of the component. Select Add to include it into your content.

Nested components are currently not supported
